Job Description & Responsibilities

Rive Technology is seeking a post-doctoral student for a one-year project leader role. This role is supported by a DOE research grant for applying our mesoporous zeolite technology to industrial gas and liquid phase adsorptive separations. We are searching for a recent graduate with a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science/Engineering and knowledge of adsorptive separations technologies to spearhead the project. The position may be extended beyond one year dependent on continued DOE funding. The person may also be converted to permanent employee of Rive depending on performance.

Education/Experience Requirements

• A PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science/Engineering.
• Substantial knowledge in adsorptive separation theories
  and practices.
• Hands-on experience in setting up and operating lab-scale adsorptive separation apparatus for studying the equilibrium and kinetic properties of adsorbent materials.
• Familiarity with adsorbent preparation and modification, and process modeling programs such as Adsim.

Travel Requirements

• No travel is required.

Compensation

Rive Technology will provide compensation commensurate with
